Miss Susie Scherz

Susie Scherz, according to records found on FamilySearch, was born in Sandusky, Ohio to John Louis Scherz, Sr. and Ann Schettler Scherz. She died at age 28, and is buried between her parents' graves at Oakland Cemetery.

At the base of Susie Scherz's tombstone are the words:

"He giveth his beloved sleep."

The funeral for Susie Scherz was held at the home of her sister, mrs. H. W. Wagenet, on Madison Street. Her obituary appeared in the Sandusky Register on February 8, 1882.
