Family Search tell us that Lula Belle Cogswell was the daughter of Frederick Whittlesey Cogswell and Julia M. Radcliffe, born on March 8, 1879. Sadly, little Lula Belle died on December 6, 1883, at the age of four. Her stone is in the shape of a tree stump, which can signify a life cut short.
HISTORY OF ERIE COUNTY, OHIO, edited by Lewis Cass Aldrich, states that F. W. Cogswell was a prosecuting attorney in Erie County, from 1860 through 1870.
