Zeviah/Zerviah Weeks



This stone from the Castalia Cemetery is very difficult to read, but an early collection of Erie County Cemetery records, compiled by Marjorie Loomis Cherry lists the following information:

Zerviah
Wife of John Weeks
Died 1838
Age 74

The stars which are on either side of the branches of the willow tree on the tombstone remind me of fireworks at the Fourth of July!
